What is "Neurodiversity 1st Aid"?

Updated: Jun 14

A utopia that possibly never existed even before the pandemic, only in an ad exec's mind!

The reality is over 75% of a workforce will not admit ill physical or mental health, stress or a disability for fear of discrimination (Radar 2010)

The pandemic is threatening us with a tsunami of mental health issues as published in the Guardian 11th April 2020

According to the Dalai Lama in his book "The art of happiness in a troubled world", the secret to happiness is social inclusion and feeling as if you are a contributing and valued member of society. Well, the pandemic and lockdown put paid to that!!

According to psychologists developing relationships is fundamental to mental well-being. Without relationships you become anti-social, dysfunctional and prone to mental health problems. It is claimed that loneliness can have the same effect on your physical health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day.

So, it just makes sense to pay attention to mental health especially in the workplace to avoid stress, burnout, loss of efficiency and the consequent affects on the balance sheet bottom line.

In our innovative new online course we will show you how to provide Neurodiversity 1st Aid, NOT "Last Aid"

Our aim is to promote social contact and well being, stimulate conversation, inspire and develop new ideas whilst helping yourself and others

This course will be announced at our FREE launch event on the 30th April. Book here for tickets
